About ATCH
The Antoinette Tubman Cheshire Home is a Non-For-Profit Organization with the sole purpose of responding to the tremendous needs of people in Liberia suffering from various mental and physical disabilities, including those with cerebral palsy. The organization was established in 1965 by a group of women headed by Madam Antoinette Tubman, the then First Lady of the Republic of Liberia as per a request by her husband, the President of the Republic of Liberia, William V. S. Tubman, who sought to address the existing national crisis of neonates and enfants abandonment in and out of hospitals around the country. The home currently has 14 residents that are be cared for by our committed and dedicated staff.
The Antoinette Tubman Cheshire home has no fixed source of income, but has relied on support from dedicated individuals, Families, Friends, Organizations, both locally and international who has a passion to help people with special needs.

The Antoinette Tubman Cheshire Home, located in Monrovia, Liberia, is a beacon of hope for many children who have been marginalized neglected due to their severe mental and physical disabilities. Many of them suffer from conditions such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and Down syndrome, which require specialized care and support.
