Moenti E Young holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from the University of Liberia and certificates in Human Resource and Performance Management from African Investors Management Services; Responsible Leadership and Ethics, Pointman Leadership Institute; Principle Based Leadership, Pointman Leadership Institute; Managing Human Resource for Organizational Effectiveness, WAIFEM; Labour Practice Law Training, Tiala Law Associates, Inc., Strategic HR Management Masterclass, Cornerstone Global Leadership Foundation and a Certificate of Completion, Human Resource Management from the University of Cape Town.

Prior to joining the Bank in 2008, he worked in various capacities- Assistant Manager, Credit Analyst, Research Analyst and Officer-In-Charge/Administration, at the then Agricultural & Cooperative Development Bank. Also served as Chief of Office Staff, Office of Senator Cletus S Wotorson, Chairman, Senate Committee on Lands, Mines & Energy. He served as a member of the Archdiocese Viability Committee, Catholic Archdiocese of Monrovia.

Before this current appointment, Head/Vice President, Human Resource Department, Liberian Bank for Development & Investment (LBDI), he served as Officer-In-Charge, Procurement & General Services, Assistant Vice President, Human Resource Department.
