People living with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities and Mental Health deserve to live the fulfilling life they so desire. Those who are passionate and care about this population also have a responsibility to demonstrate that compassion while making sure the desires of the individuals are met.

My love, care, and compassion working with individuals living with Intellectual Development Disabilities, Mental Health, Autism, Down Syndrome, etc. developed 22 years ago when I started working for a company called ResCare in New Jersey.

My desire to learn more about this population led my transformation through trainings, seminars, workshop and got me elevated from being a Caregiver to Manager, Clinical Director, Project Director, Unit Director, Residential Services Director and Chief Executive Officer, CEO, with

different Human Services Companies in the United States. This is what led to my decision to join the Antoinette Tubman Cheshire Home Board of Directors when a request was made by the Interim Leadership of the Board.

I am D. Zeogar Wilson, former Minister of Youth and Sports, Republic of Liberia (2018-2024). I am the current Chair of the Board of Directors of the Antoinette Tubman Cheshire Home.
